Stephan Mariani
Stephan has spent twenty-five years at the intersection of technology and financial services — as a Senior Lead Business Analyst at Commonwealth Bank, a Business Solutions Consultant at IOOF and Shadforth Financial Group, and a Digital Advice Consultant at Ignition Wealth, one of Australia’s early robo-advice platforms.
He founded Planfocus Consulting in 2015 and spent eleven years building it into a specialist advice-technology firm, latterly as Chief Technology Officer, where he led the technology direction of the business and the development of two production AI platforms — AdviceStudio and Coremetryx. He is one of Australia’s more experienced XPLAN specialists, with more than fifteen years designing solutions on the platform.
He now builds AI SaaS products for businesses operating under regulatory constraint, from Dubai.

The company is registered in Dubai and delivers remotely. The domain expertise runs deepest in Australian financial services — that is where twenty-five years of it was accumulated, and where both portfolio platforms are in production — but the engineering problems we specialise in are not specific to one market or one sector.
